Sir Zelman Cowen Centre

Over eight years I maintained a relationship with the Sir Zelman Cowen Centre at Victoria University, producing educational, program, and exhibition content at the intersection of law, cultural diversity, and community engagement. Footage and audio recordings were also provided to media upon request.

The work consistently required sensitivity to specific audiences — including CALD and faith-based communities — and a thoughtful approach to complex subject matter. The Good Beginnings project (see Benevolence) emerged from this relationship.

WorkWell Respect Network

In 2024, we joined a project team supported by WorkSafe Victoria to help bring the WorkWell Respect Network (WWRN) to life.

Our collective goal was to prevent and respond to gendered violence across key industries - with a strong focus on intersectionality.

Sir Zelman Cowen Centenary

Sir Zelman Cowen Centenary Exhibition — A Life of Opportunity and Success marked the centenary of one of Australia's most distinguished scholars, statesmen, and public intellectuals. Curated by SZCC in partnership with the Jewish Museum of Australia, the exhibition brought together documents, artefacts, personal memorabilia, and an interactive timeline of photographs and film. I researched archival sources and interviewed Cowen's friends and contemporaries to produce the accompanying short documentary.

Aspire Program

The Aspire program helps young people to become leaders and influencers within their communities.

I was fortunate spend plenty of time with the Aspire participants, attending workshops, camps and celebrations, building trust and capturing their true reflections.

Annual Oration

Every year the SZCC hosts a though-provoking oration which my team would capture and promote. In 2024, it featured the acclaimed journalist, lawyer, and broadcaster, Jon Faine AM. Mr Faine guided the audience through the pressing question of "Can democracy survive social media?"
