Festival screenings

for our documentary Lollipops

“Meet Jeremy: school crossing supervisor, local legend, and unlikely star.”

As we’d hoped our short documentary Lollipops had its premiere at a sold out Castlemaine documentary local’s night. The festival were generous enough to provide this feedback:

“A heartwarming and respectful tribute to a quiet community hero, this short film is intimate, well-paced, and rich in detail. It’s technically polished, with excellent sound that draws viewers closer to its subject. This film succeeds through its sincerity and thorough craftsmanship.”

This was a passion project with longtime collaborators Fiona Dann (producer) and Richard Wynn (cinematographer). We hope that it’s a faithful portrait of a charismatic crossing supervisor, but also that Jeremy’s road safety message is received!

We’re also excited to announce that the film also screened in July at Cinema Nova as part of Melbourne Documentary Film Festival (MDFF).

We won June heat of the Stockholm City Film Festival, taking the award for cinematography. This qualifies us for the main festival.

It was also selected for Heart of Gold International Film Festival in October.
