Stigmabeat Gippsland

Satellite & Monash Rural Health

Stigmabeat was a youth-led storytelling project held at Latrobe Youth Space in Morwell. The goal was to reduce stigma around mental health through film, animation, and photography.

Over two days, young people shared experiences and ideas through games and creative activities. We created three resources: a behind-the-scenes video, an animated short called *Stigma Stevie*, and a series of photo stories.

The project was led by Monash Rural Health and Satellite Foundation. It was a successful pilot program that demonstrated the powerful role creativity in reaching young people in rural areas and engaging them in challenging conversations.
